Replacing Engine Mount Brackets

Replacement of an arm of the left support of the engine is necessary for carrying out in a following order. Lock the engine in the installation position using the tool «00.0.200». Remove both front wheels, front engine accessory guard and stiffening plate. Remove exhaust system, front axle gearbox and left exhaust manifold.

Lower the front axle beam. Remove bolts (1, fig. 5.200), unscrew the top fastener (3) both engine mounts, disconnect the jumper connecting to «weight» and unscrew the bolts (2) engine mount support bracket.



When installing the brackets, the contact surfaces should be cleaned to ensure a secure connection between the motor and «weight». Bolts M8 (8.8) tighten torque 38 Nm (3.8 kgf·m), M8 bolts (10.9) torque 30 Nm (3.0 kgf·m), M10 nuts (10.9) torque 56 Nm (5.6 kgf·m).

Replacing the right engine mount bracket must be carried out in the same way as replacing the left engine mount bracket.
