Replacing the right knock sensors 1-4 cylinders must be carried out in the following order. Read information about malfunctions from the memory of the memory of the ECU-KSUD system «DME». Switch off the ignition. Remove intake manifold.
Remove bolts (arrows, fig. 5.189) and remove the knock sensors for cylinder group 1-4.
When installing, clean the contact surface of the knock sensors on the cylinder block. Install the knock sensors and tighten their fastening bolts to a torque of 20 Nm (2.0 kgf·m). Upon completion of the replacement of the knock sensor, it is necessary to read information about malfunctions from the memory of the memory of the ECU-KSUD of the system «DME». Eliminate malfunctions and erase information about malfunctions from the memory of the memory.
Replacing the left knock sensors

Replacing left knock sensors (1, fig. 5.190) on the bank of cylinders 5–8 should be carried out in a similar manner to replace the right knock sensors on the bank of cylinders 1–4.
