Note. When removing the pressure sensor, a small amount of oil flows out. Prepare a rag to collect it.
Have a clean rag ready to collect the leaking oil. Unlock and disconnect the loop. Unscrew the oil pressure gauge (2, fig. 5.191).
When installing, replace the gasket, tighten the oil pressure indicator sensor with a torque of 27 Nm (2.7 kgf·m), while pre-lubricating its threads.
Park the vehicle on a level surface, start the engine and let it idle until the oil pressure indicator goes out. Stop the engine and hold for 5–7 minutes. Check engine oil level, top up if necessary.
