Fuel pump replacement

Replacement of the main (additional) fuel pump must be carried out in the following order. Switch off the ignition, unscrew the fastening of the tank protection on the left side, lower it and fix it.

Disconnect loop (1. fig. 6.108), loosen clamps (2) and disconnect the fuel lines (3) from the fuel pump (4).

Remove screws only (5) from the holder (6) and take out the fuel pump (4).



Installation of the fuel pump should be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to replace the fuel hose clamps (∅ 10–16 mm) and tighten the screws securing them to a torque of 2.0 Nm (0.2 kgf·m).
