Attention! All cavities that open during the removal of components and parts must be securely closed from the ingress of moisture, dust and dirt.
Do not pull out the dipstick tube, due to possible loss of oil.
Intake manifold replacement (pipeline) must be done in the following order. Disconnect wire from «–» AB terminals and insulate it. Remove the front and rear soundproof covers.
Disconnect loop (1, fig. 6.37), unscrew the bolt (2) and open the holder (3). Disconnect loop (4) and vacuum pipelines (5 and 6).
Loosen and remove the hose (1, fig. 6.38) charge air. Disconnect the pipeline (2), unscrew the bolts along the line (3) intake manifold mountings and disconnect the vacuum pipe (4) from the exhaust gas return valve (OG). Remove the intake manifold from the cylinder head and close the holes formed.
Install the intake manifold in reverse order, ensuring that the sealing surfaces are dry and clean and free from grease. Replace profile seals.
Tighten the screws of the air supply clamps to a torque of 6.0 Nm (0.6 kgf·m). Tighten the bolts and nuts securing the intake manifold to the cylinder head to a torque of:
- M6 - 10 Nm (1.0 kgf·m)
- M7 - 15 Nm (1.5 kgf·m).
