Replacing the glow plug relay

Removal of the glow plug relay must be carried out in the following order. Switch off the ignition, disconnect the wire from «negative» AB terminals and insulate it. Check the 100A glow plug fuse.

Unlock and detach loops (3 and 1, fig. 6.132) from the relay box. Loosen the nuts (2) and remove the glow plug relay. The installation of the glow plug relay must be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to assemble the engine and activate the glow plug relay using the system ECU «DDE». Read information from the fault memory of the system ECU «DDE».



Check error messages and rectify them. Erase malfunctions from the computer memory and check the functioning of the system «DDE».
