Washer reservoir level control

The windshield and headlight washer fluid is located in a plastic reservoir, on the right in the engine compartment (pic. 2.24). Liquid level (7.8 l) in the tank is monitored by the indicator.



In a temperate climate, the system can be filled with ordinary water, but the reservoir should be no more than two-thirds full to leave room for expansion when the water freezes. In an area with cold climates, use a special antifreeze for the windshield washer system, which lowers the freezing point of the fluid.

Warning! Do not use antifreeze in the cooling system, as it damages the paintwork.
