- use only a clean, lint-free cloth;
- remove traces of dust with a damp cloth or vacuum cleaner;
- prevent the ingress of oils and cleaning agents into the brake system;
- carefully remove traces of cleansers and oils;
- brake pads should be replaced simultaneously on one axle;
- avoid contact of brake linings with oils and greases;
- install brake pads with motion binding («arrows») in the direction of rotation of the brake disc and in line with the sides of the vehicle («Links/ Rechts», «Left/Right»);
- before installing new parts, carefully re-preserve them;
- all moving parts of the caliper must be easy to move;
- pipelines and hoses must be laid in such a way as to exclude their friction against the body or other elements;
- threaded connections of pipelines (fitting) unscrew / wrap with special keys, torque 17–19 Nm (1.7–1.9 kgf·m);
- plug open holes on parts, hoses and pipelines with plugs:
- observe the tightening torques of threaded connections;
- before dismantling pipeline lines, it is necessary to mark them;
- change the brake fluid every two years;
- upon completion of work, it is necessary to check the tightness of the brake system, bleed it and restore the brake fluid level.
