After disconnecting the pressure pipes, be sure to plug the holes in the injection pump and injectors.
Models with M51 engine
Nozzle assembly

1. Nozzle assembly details are shown.
2. Remove the inlet pipeline (see chapter Engine).
3. Remove the pipeline holder and disconnect the return fuel hoses.
Replace removed hoses.
4. Using a special split wrench, release the union nut that secures the tube to the nozzle being removed. Close the hole to prevent dirt from getting into it. Loosen the union nut that secures the corresponding tube to the injection pump, if necessary, holding the pressure valve from turning.
5. Unscrew the nozzle assembly using tool no. 13 5 320.
Nozzle of the 4th cylinder with a needle lift sensor (the wire) disassembly is not allowed.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Models with M57 engine
Close the generator from hit on it of working liquids.
1. Remove the inlet pipeline (see chapter Engine).
2. Using a split wrench, release the union nuts (1) fastening of pressure pipelines (2) on the nozzle (4) and loosen the nuts on the fuel rail. Give the nut (3) and remove the injectors.
3. If O-ring (1) not left on the removed injector (2), remove it from the cylinder head. Pay attention to the position of the flange (3).
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Before installation, clean the nozzle channels. Tighten the nuts in the following sequence:
- Tighten all union nuts of pressure pipelines by hand;
- Tighten the union nuts on the injectors with the required force;
- Tighten the union nuts on the distribution line and on the injection pump.
5. If more than two injectors are replaced, the injector characteristics field must be corrected using a diagnostic tool.
Models with M67 engine
Below is the procedure for removing the injectors on the example of the left bank of cylinders (№№ 5 - 8).
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Give cap nuts of fastening of pressure head pipelines (3) on the injector and on the fuel rail with a socket wrench.
At the same time, hold the unit from turning by the pressure pipe fitting on the nozzle.
3. Remove pressure lines.
After disconnecting the pressure pipes, be sure to plug the openings of the injectors and pressure pipes.
4. Press connector (1) down, press the latch (2) and disconnect the connector (1).
5. Turn out bolts of fastening of atomizers, screw instead of bolts the special adaptation by means of which remove atomizers.
6. If O-ring (1) not left on the removed injector (2), remove it from the cylinder head.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Before installation, clean the nozzle channels.
8. If more than three injectors are replaced, the injector characteristics field must be corrected using a diagnostic tool.
