End silencer — replacement

The standard end silencer can be separately replaced with a new one. A suitable chain cutter is required for separation. Raise and support the vehicle.

Measure length (A) pipe section on the new end silencer.



Place a mark corresponding to dimension A on the installed end silencer. At this point, cut the exhaust pipe and tilt it. Remove the end silencer.

Connect the new end silencer with the clamping sleeve (arrow). The cut point must be in the middle of the clamping sleeve.





Arrange the exhaust system parts and clamping sleeve so that the distance to the body is at least 25 mm everywhere. In addition, the end of the exhaust pipe must be positioned evenly in the body recess at the rear of the vehicle.



Lower the car.
