unscrew the bolt (2) under the filter a few turns by hand. If it does not unscrew, then you can use the clip by placing pieces of leather or paper under its lips.
Drain about 200 cm3 of water until clean diesel fuel flows out. tighten valve (bolt) to remove water by hand.
Remove the fuel line to the injection pump from the top of the filter by pressing on the wire. Have an assistant crank the engine over with the starter until fuel comes out of the fuel filter, then turn off the starter. In this way, the air from the filter will be quickly removed.
Caution: Collect escaping diesel fuel in a suitable container.
Put on the fuel line, replace the damaged gasket, lubricating it with petroleum jelly to facilitate installation. Start the engine. After several engine starts, bubble-free fuel should flow through the transparent fuel line to the injection pump and there should be no leaks.
