Caution: When working on the brake pipes, care must be taken not to damage the protective plastic layer. Brake pipes are usually supplied in lengths not without union nuts. For brake pipes that need to be made, you need to pay attention to the thread diameter of the union nuts. It is necessary to put an appropriate nut on the brake tube and process the end of the tube in a special device. Appropriate device design must be used.
When bending, you need to take the old tube as a sample. To avoid flattening and kinks, it is necessary to use a special bending device.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Depress the brake pedal lightly and secure it in this position. To do this, insert a spacer between the brake pedal and the driver's seat. Move the seat forward or backward as needed. This will prevent the leakage of brake fluid from the reservoir after disconnecting the brake tube and the ingress of air into the brake hydraulic system.
Loosen the union nuts and remove the brake pipes.
If necessary, plug the pipe connection in the direction of the brake master cylinder.
Position the new brake line as far as possible in the same way as the old one. Tighten union nuts with M12 thread to 15 Nm, with M10 thread to 20 Nm.
Caution: Do not run brake lines between electrical wires. Chafed spots may form, resulting in damage to the brake system or electrical equipment. The distance between the brake pipes and electrical wires must be at least 25mm.
Bleed air from the brakes. Do a security check.
