- Brake fluid is poisonous. Never suck it in through the hose with your mouth. Store liquid only in a closed container.
- Brake fluid is corrosive and should not come into contact with painted surfaces, and if this does happen, immediately wipe off the fluid and wash it off with plenty of water.
- Brake fluid is hygroscopic, i.e. absorbs moisture from the air, so it must be stored in a closed container.
- Fluid that has already been used in the brake system must not be reused. When bleeding the brakes, you should also use only new brake fluid. Brake fluid specification - DOT4.
- Brake fluid must not come into contact with mineral oils. Even small amounts of mineral oil make the brake fluid unusable and damage the brakes.
Change brake fluid every 2 years regardless of mileage. It is better to replace after the end of the cold season. Do not drain old brake fluid down the drain.
