Raise the vehicle only when it is unloaded on level and firm ground.
Lock wheels that remain on the floor when the vehicle is lifted against rolling forwards and backwards using wedges. Do not rely on the parking brake, which must be released for some work.
Support the car with jack stands so that one leg on the side is turned outward as needed.
Caution: Using suitable rubber or wood pads when lifting the vehicle, damage to the bodywork can be avoided.
Points of lifting and leaning on goats
The lifting points on the side members -arrows- for the car jack or lift are fitted with rubber pads.
Attach a car jack so that its base rests on the platform with its entire surface, and when lifting, the jack head enters the rectangular recess of the lifting point.
After that, rotate the jack handle and raise the car until the corresponding wheel is lifted off the platform. Support the vehicle with jack stands.
