When the brake light does not come on, first check the condition of the fuse in the fuse box.
If the fuse turned out to be in order, then next you need to check the incandescent brake signal pumps, if necessary, replace the lamps.
Check the brake light switch. To do this, remove the cover located above the brake pedal. Disconnect the plug at the switch.
Turn on the ignition.
With a short auxiliary wire, make a jumper between both contacts of the plug removed from the switch. If the brake light comes on, then the brake light switch is faulty. Replace brake light switch.
Otherwise, the lighting system module must be checked.
