Caution: Brake hoses must not come into contact with oil or fuel. It is not allowed to cover the brake hoses with paint or anti-corrosion coating for the underbody.
Withdrawal
Mark the position of the front wheels in relation to the hubs with paint. This will allow the balanced wheel to return to its original position. When loosening the wheel bolts, the vehicle must be on its wheels. Raise the car from the front and remove the front wheels.
The brake pedal is easy to depress and hold down. To do this, install a board as a spacer between the carrion and the seat, moving the seat back and then forward accordingly. This prevents the brake fluid from escaping from the expansion tank and from entering the system with air after the brake lines are disconnected.
Unscrew union nut -2- of brake line -1- at brake hose connector. While doing this, hold the brake hose -4- by the flats or the hexagon -3- so that the coupling head does not turn in the retaining bracket.
Caution: Some brake fluid may leak out. Collect brake fluid in a bottle that is for brake fluid only.
Unscrew the brake hose from the brake caliper.
Installation
Screw the brake hose to the brake caliper.
Set the car wheels in a downward direction for straight movement
Insert the brake hose into the holder and screw the brake pipe with the union nut. When doing this, hold the brake hose by the flats or hexagon so that the coupling head does not turn in the holding bracket. Tighten the threaded connection of the pipeline M12 to a torque of 15 Nm, and M10 to a torque of 20 Nm.
Attach the wheels so that the parade applied by removing the uterus coincides. Do not grease wheel bolts. Screw on the front wheels.
After installation with unloaded wheels (the car is raised) check that the hoses track all the movements of the wheels, while not touching anything.
Lower vehicle and tighten wheel bolts crosswise to 100 Nm.
Turn the steering wheel of the car standing on wheels all the way to the right and to the right, checking whether the brake hoses follow all the movements of the wheels, without asking for the surrounding details.
Remove air from the brake system.
Attention. Carry out a safety test:
- Are the brake hoses tight?
- Is the brake hose in the holder?
- Are the air bleed valves tight?
- Is there enough fluid in the brake system?
- With the engine running, perform a leak test. To do this, act on the brake pedal with a force of 200 to 300 N for about 10 seconds (from 20 to 30 kg). Do not release the brake pedal. Check all connections for tightness.
Note: Handle brake fluid as special waste.
