The oil level should be checked and topped up if necessary approximately every 1000 km. At the same time, oil consumption should not exceed 1.0 liters per 1000 km. Higher flow is a sign of worn valve seals and/or piston rings and lubrication port seals.
When measuring, the vehicle must be parked on a level surface.
After turning off the engine, wait at least 3 minutes for the oil to drain into the oil sump.
Pull out the oil dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth.
Then insert the oil dipstick as far as it will go and pull it out again. The oil level must be between the two marks on the dipstick.
Add new oil only when the level approaches the lower mark. The difference between the MIN and MAX marks on the oil dipstick is 1 liter.
Topping up is done through the neck on the cylinder head cover. When topping up, use the recommended grades of oil and do not use additives.
