Closing the tank: put the plug back in place and turn clockwise until it stops (fixation "bayonet").
Attention: Special precautions must be taken when refueling the vehicle.
Vehicles with a catalytic converter
The fuel filler neck has a smaller diameter and the standard dispenser nozzle cannot be inserted into it. This is to avoid accidental refueling with leaded gasoline, which will damage the converter.
For pouring gasoline from a canister, funnels with a tube of reduced diameter are produced (included in the set of special equipment).
Unlocking the fuel tank door in the event of a central lock failure
- Bend the trunk floor cover to the right.
- Remove the trim on the right (release the latches).
- Press back the locking pin.
