When trying to start the engine or when manipulating the radio, glove box or battery, the siren sounds again for 30 seconds.
When towing a car, the siren also turns on after a short distance.
The alarm is switched on and off simultaneously with the locking and unlocking of the car through the central locking system (with key or remote control).
When the alarm is on, the indicator on the top side of the instrument panel lights up for 36 hours (Light-emitting diode).
A flashing LED indicates a poor closing of one of the doors, hood, trunk or glove box. But even with the door open, the system will automatically turn on after 10 seconds, and the LED will be on constantly.
When the alarm is turned off, the LED goes out. If the shutdown occurred with the LED off (more than 36 hours), it blinks.
After a burglary attempt and the alarm is triggered, the indicator will flash for 36 hours to warn of this. It goes out when the system is turned off.
Access to the luggage compartment is also possible after the alarm is turned on. The indicator flashes for 10 seconds to warn that the trunk lid is closed but not locked (turn the key to the right and pull it out).
Alarm with additional interior protection and vehicle inclination sensor*
The alarm will turn on if the rear or one of the side windows is broken (windows must be closed, slots up to 10 mm are allowed for ventilation in hot weather). Also, the system will respond to the tilt of the car when you try to remove the wheel - the angle of inclination is monitored by the corresponding sensor.
If the indicator flashes after the alarm is turned on, this indicates that one or more windows are open (the gap above the upper edge of the glass is more than 10 mm). But even if the window is not closed, after 10 seconds the system will switch to normal armed mode, the indicator will be on constantly.
If necessary, you can turn off the acoustic alarm when the anti-theft system is on (e.g. when transporting the vehicle by ferry or towing). Disabling the vehicle inclination angle sensor is as follows:
Immediately after turning on the anti-theft system, carry out this procedure again (turn the key to the system on position or press buttons 2 and 3 on the remote control). The indicator will turn off and on again, and the tilt angle sensor will be disabled until the anti-theft system is reactivated.
Warning: Improper installation of door speakers may damage the vehicle's window protection system.
If the alarm cannot be turned off in the usual way, then a fallback is provided:
- Open the door with the key (Siren sounds for 30 seconds);
- Get into the car, close the door and turn the ignition key to the "1" (Siren sounds for 30 seconds);
- Wait approximately 15 minutes for the LED to turn off. At this time, do not open the door and keep the ignition key in the "1". The system will turn off.
