Remove one wheel bolt on each wheel.
Raise the back of the car.
Raise rear and remove handbrake lever cover.
Loosen the 2 adjusting screws -arrows- for the handbrake cable.
Completely remove one bolt on each wheel. The threaded hole should be located at the rear bottom at about 45°from the vertical. The wheel must not come off (In the figure, the wheel is removed for clarity). Illuminate the threaded hole with a portable lamp, where the nut of the adjusting mechanism should be visible.
Attaching a screwdriver 2 to the adjusting nut 1, turn the nut until it is impossible to turn the brake disc by hand. After that, unscrew the adjusting nut 4-6 teeth back. When turning the adjusting nut on the left side of the car up, the brake pads are pressed against the drum. On the right side of the vehicle, the adjusting nut must be turned down to do this.
After adjustment, check that the brake disc can turn freely and, if necessary, turn the adjusting nut back a little. Brake discs must rotate freely.
Adjust handbrake cable. To do this, tighten the handbrake lever by 4 teeth and screw the adjusting nuts -arrows- onto the cable until the left and right rear wheels can still be turned evenly by hand. Release the handbrake lever and check that the wheels turn freely. If necessary, repeat the adjustment.
Install the handbrake lever cover.
Lower the car.
Screw in the 2 bolts of the rear wheels and tighten them to a torque of 110 Nm. Put on decorative wheel caps.
