Removal, limousine
Pull the seat cushion strongly upwards out of the brackets -arrow- and pull the seat cushion forward.
Pull the rear headrests out of the guides with a jerk.
Rotate the pad locks under the head restraints by 90°and remove the pads. Hook up the rear seat belt covers.
Lower the middle armrest.
Remove trim behind center armrest (fastened with Velcro) and unscrew the four plastic nuts -arrows- on both sides of the backrest.
Pull out the back of the rear seat.
Installation
Secure the rear seat backrest with four plastic nuts, ensuring that the seat belts are routed correctly. Lay the belt buckles in the recesses.
Snap on the seat belt covers and zip the covers under the head restraints.
Fasten the trim behind the center armrest with Velcro.
Insert the seat cushion and press firmly back so that the brackets engage in the recesses in the body. Snap on the brackets.
Insert the head restraints and press them down until they click into place.
Removal, touring
Remove the rear seat cushion. To do this, use a screwdriver to pry off the plugs on both seat belt trims -arrows-.
Insert a rod or screwdriver into the hole formed to a depth of about 35 mm and press, while the pad is released. Pull out the pads.
Pull the front edge up and pull out the seat cushion.
First detach the seatback side elements from above, arrow 1, and then lift upwards, arrow 2.
Fold out both seat backs. Pull out the lining between the backs.
Loosen the hinge bolts on both rear seat backrests.
Release the latch and pull out the backrest of the rear seat.
Installation
Insert the rear seat backs. Cover the threads of the bolts of the outer hinges with locking paste and screw in the bolts.
Insert trim between rear seat backrests/
Connect the side elements of the rear seat backrests first from below and then click into place from above.
Insert the seat cushion and click into place. Install and clip the seat belt buckle covers and insert the plugs.
