The manual transmission of the vehicles described in this manual is a five-speed manufactured by ZF or Getrag. To identify the transmission, look for the manufacturer's mark and the letters and numbers of the code. The brand of the manufacturer is applied to the crankcase immediately before mounting the clutch slave cylinder; identification number and letters are located on top of the clutch housing.
