Engine compartment relay.
Some accessories in a car use a relay to send an electrical signal to a component. If the relay fails, the component will no longer function normally. Relays are electrical switches often used in high current circuits or where complex switching is required.
Relays of various types are grouped and located in different places under the dashboard and in the engine compartment.
If there is a suspicion that the relay is defective, it should be removed and checked at the dealership of the company or any auto repair shop. No repair of the relay is possible. Faulty relays, as well as fuses. must be replaced by a relay of the same type; some relays look the same but perform completely different functions.
