Generator — check and repair

If the alternator is in doubt, remove it from the vehicle and have it checked and repaired by an auto electrician. Most electricians can change alternator brushes for a modest fee. If the generator requires more serious repairs, ask about the cost of repairs - it is possible that a new generator will cost less.
