Relay — general information

Relays are used to supply electrical current to components in some of the vehicle's electrical accessories. Failure of the relay to function properly leads to failure of the component it serves. If any of the relays is suspected to be defective, it should be removed and subjected to a diagnostic check by a representative branch of the company or a specialized car workshop. Replacing a failed relay is done as an assembly.
