Windshield washer jet adjustment

1. Mark on the glass the points of impact of the water jet in accordance with the given dimensions using adhesive tape or a felt-tip pen and turn on the washer. The jets of water must hit the center of a 60 x 80 mm field. Otherwise, adjust the injectors (refer to accompanying illustration).



2. The dimensions for adjusting the water jets are shown in the illustration. The base is the sealing lips of the windshield.

3. The direction of the nozzle jets can be adjusted if necessary with a suitable needle. Service stations use a special tool HAZET 4850-1 for this. The tool consists of a telescopic rod with a needle. An elongated telescopic rod indicates the direction of the nozzle jet more precisely than, for example, a needle.
