Before pressing the valve stem seals onto the valve guides, install protective plastic bushings on the cracker grooves on the valve stems or seal them with adhesive tape to prevent damage to the sealing surfaces of the edges of the valve stems.
Press the valve stem seals onto the valve guides using drift 11 1 140.
Install the valve spring retainers, then install the valve springs with closely spaced coils towards the cylinder head.
While compressing the springs with tool 111060, install the cotters and the upper valve plates.
Install the rocker shafts so that the lubrication holes in them face the valve guides and the grooves for the guide flange face the inside of the engine.
Insert the spring holders of the rocker arms into the grooves of the axles of the rocker arms.
Establish a directing flange of axes of yokes and close apertures of axes with plugs.
