Removing the water pump

Disconnect the wire from the terminal «—» battery.

Unscrew the radiator filler plug and open the valve of the body interior heater by placing the switch handle in the position «warn» («warm air»). Place a container under the engine to drain the fluid, disconnect the outlet hose from the radiator, unscrew the drain plug located at the rear of the cylinder block on the right, and drain the fluid.

Remove the heatsink and fan.

Loosen and remove the alternator drive belt.

Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the water pump and remove the water pump.
